Texas Native Acquitted by Bexar County Jury is Now Demanding Accountability

Austin, Texas – Kerry Ray Lampkin Jr., a 37-year-old Indigenous American and native son of this land, was acquitted by a Bexar County jury after being charged with theft of property valued from $30,000 to less than $150,000. The certified judgment in State of Texas v. Kerry Lampkin, case 2024CR009936, records the jury’s Not Guilty verdict and orders his immediate discharge. The acquittal was entered June 18, 2025, in the 187th District Court.
